Remarks: It is distinguished by a slightly convex ventral side and a more convex dorsal side.
Stratigraphic distribution: It is recorded in the chalk of Wadi Mellaha and G. Duwi by NAKKADY (1950). It is found in the Maastrichtian and rarely in the Paleocene of the Esh El Mallaha area.
