Remarks: It is distinguished by having seven chambers increasing rapidly in size as added with the last two chambers are inflated and the last one extends covering part of the ventral umbilical region.

Stratigraphic distribution: It is recorded in the Esna Shale of the Maqfi Section by LE ROY (1953) and SAID & KENAWY (1956). In the study area, it is recorded in the Maastrichtian but it is rare to moderate occurrence in the Paleocene.
