Remarks: It is distinguished by having nodes on the dorsal umbilical and the test is smooth.

Stratigraphic distribution: It was first described from the Esna Shale and the Cretaceous Chalk at Luxor region by NAKKADY (1950). It is recorded in the Esna Shale of the Maqfi section by LE ROY (1953). It is recorded in the Maastrichtian and Paleocene sediments of the Esh El Mallaha area.
