Remarks: It is characterized by limbate sutures and presence of a keel.

Stratigraphic distribution: It is recorded in the Maastrichtian by LUGER (1985) and in the Paleocene (Esna Shale) by SAID & KENAWY (1956). It is found in the Maastrichtian and Paleocene of Esh El Mallaha area.
