Remarks: It is distinguished by having no inflated chambers and the apertural face somewhat concave. The sutures are flush.

Stratigraphic distribution: It is recorded in the Upper Cretaceous by CUSHMAN (1946). LUGER (1985) recorded this species from the Dakhla Formation (the Maastrichtian part). It is recorded in the Maastrichtian of the Esh El Mallaha area.
