Remarks: The test is strongly convex with rather large area of clear shell material in the umbilical region. The sutures are distinct.

Stratigraphic distribution: It is recorded in the Eocene beds and the Esna Shale (LE ROY, 1953). It is recorded in the Maastrichtian and Paleocene zones of the Esh El Mallaha area.
