Remarks: It has a wide, coiled chambers and high rugosity test.

Stratigraphic distribution: It was originally described from the Late Cretaceous of the Paris Basin by D’ORBIGNY (1840). It is recorded in the Maastrichtian by SAID & KENAWY (1956) and LUGER (1985). It is found in the Maastrichtian and Paleocene of the Esh El Mallaha area.
