Remarks: It differs from N. rugosa in having a narrow test, fewer coiled chambers and higher sutures with irregularly shaped loops.

Stratigraphic distribution: It is recorded in the Paleocene by SAID & KENAWY (1956) and LUGER (1985). It is rarely found in the Maastrichtian and floody in the Paleocene of the Esh El Mallaha area.
