Stratigraphic distribution: It is recorded in the Paleocene of Morroco and Libya by BERGGREN & AUBERT (1975). Also, it is recorded by LUGER (1985) in the Paleocene (Garra Formation). It is recorded in the Esna Shale of the Esh El Mallaha area.
