Remarks: It is distinguished by thin sutures in the median portion.

Stratigraphic distribution: It is recorded in the Paleocene in Tunisia, Morroco and Angola by BERGGREN & AUBERT (1975). It is recorded in the Sudr Chalk and Esna Shale of the Esh El Mallaha area.
