Remarks: It resembles the specimens recorded by SAID & KENAWY (1956).

Stratigraphic distribution: It was originally described from the Tampico Embayment of Mexico. It is also recorded from the Paleocene of northern Sinai by SAID & KENAWY (1956). In the study area, it is found in the Maastrichtian.
