Remarks: It resembles the specimens recorded by CUSHMAN (1946).

Stratigraphic distribution: It was first described from Late Cretaceous of Texas ( U.S.A.). Also, it is recorded in the Esna Shale of northern Sinai (SAID & KENAWY, 1956). In the study area, it is found in the Maastrichtian and Early-Middle Paleocene sediments.
