Remarks: It resembles the specimens recorded by SAID & KENAWY (1956).

Stratigraphic distribution: It was originally described from the Paleocene (Dano-Montian) of Algeria, and also recorded from the Danian in northern Sinai by SAID & KENAWY (1956). In the study area, it is found in the Maastrichtian and Early-Middle Paleocene sediments.
