Remarks: It resembles the specimens recorded by LE ROY (1953) and SAID & KENAWY (1956).

Stratigraphic distribution: It was originally described from the basal Eocene of the Maqfi Section by LE ROY (1953), but it may be extended from the Maastrichtian to the Paleocene (SAID & KENAWY, 1956). In the study area, it is recorded in the Maastrichtian and Paleocene sediments.
