Remarks: It is distinguished by having elongate chambers and ten well developed costae that extend across the sutures.

Stratigraphic distribution: It is recorded in the Esna Shale by LE ROY (1953) and SAID & KENAWY (1956). It is found in the Maastrichtian and Paleocene zones of the Esh El Mallaha area.
