Remarks: It is characterized by longitudinal costae with slight extinctions and decreasing in chamber size toward the end.

Stratigraphic distribution: It is recorded in Midway fauna (Paleocene) by BERGGREN & AUBERT (1975) and in the Late Paleocene by ANAN & HEWAIDY (1986). It is recorded in the Maastrichtian and Paleocene zones of the Esh El Mallaha area.
