Remarks: It is characterized by elongate test, gently tapering and greatest breadth toward the apertural end.

Stratigraphic distribution: It is recorded in the Taylor age and Navarro age by C USHMAN (1946) in America. It is also recorded in the Upper Cretaceous and Paleocene by LUGER (1985) in Southwestern Egypt. In the study area, it is found in the Maastrichtian-Paleocene sediments.
