Distribution in Colombia: Vichada: Natural National Park El Tuparro (5.2687; -68.6080) ( Romero-Ortiz et al., 2012 as Beierolpium sp.).

Repository of Colombian material: ICN-APs-267 (1 ♀)

Remarks: Collection data as in label: 72 masl; 12-23-mar-2011; David Luna and Catalina Romero leg; in hiperstational savana, siffting of grass roots. The specimen was part of an unplubished study on Pseudoscorpiones of the National Natural Park el Tuparro conducted by the collectors. Beierolpium is composed by 19 species with B. venezuelense representing the only species recorded from South America. This is the second record of the species, beside the type series.
