"Habitat in Europa australi." RCN: 4164.

Lectotype (Morales in Jarvis & al. in Taxon 50: 521. 2001): Herb. Linn. No. 724.2 ( LINN) .

Current name: Thymbra spicata L. ( Lamiaceae ).

Note: Although Morales (in Anales Jard. Bot. Madrid 44: 373. 1987) noted the existence of the Linnaean material, he did not formally typify the name there.
