Metadynomene tanensis (Yokoya, 1933) View in CoL

Female 20.5 × 21.9 mm, New Caledonia, SMIB 8, stn DW 199 (MNHN-B 26576).

Suture 7/8 ends by a visible aperture ( Fig. 4A View FIG ). The spermathecal bulb, well developed and pear-shaped, extends along the whole length of each chamber, without a visible basal thickening. The chamber has its two sheets nearly adjoining, without a marked space between; the inner wall is relatively soft. There is no tube, and at its anterior part the chamber itself ends by a well marked terminal opening.
