Remarks.

This species is only recorded from China (Fujian). It is similar to B. matsumurai , and see the differences between them in the diagnosis of B. matsumurai . The illustrations of B. pappi provided by Sharkey and Yu clearly show that the length of first tergite is actually 1.8 times as long as its apical width not 3.0 times as mentioned in the description of Chen and Yang (2006).
