Distribution and remarks: known from middle Congo River basin in Democratic Republic of the Congo and report- ed from the upper Congo. One record for Gabon: MRAC P-99090.2307 (1998) “Rivière Ngounié à Nzoundou, Ngou-Ngou- nié-Ogooué” must be verified according to the known distri-distri- bution of the species.
