Diagnosis.

This species differs from Filistata insidiatrix by smaller size, shorter and thicker male palp with screw-shaped embolus, and smaller receptacles (cf. Fig. 1 c–d).

Record in Iran.

Global distribution.

Known only from southern Azerbaijan and northwestern Iran.
