Mesotibiae with 2 spines on inner side and 3–4 spines on outer side of ventral margin, and a pair of ventral apical spurs. Postfemora with genicular lobes obtuse, posttibiae with 16–18 spines on inner and outer sides of dorsal margin separately, and a pair of dorsal apical spurs and a pair of ventral apical spurs.
Tegmina short, not reaching posterior margin of pronotum, concealed under pronotum. Hind wings absent.

Discussion. The new species is allied to Pseudocosmetura multicolora ( Shi & Du, 2006) , but it differs from the latter in: male tenth abdominal tergite broader, posterior margin with an arch-shaped concavity, the lateral margins triangularly prominent; cerci with middle area slightly broadened; body unicolorous.
Etymology. The name of the new species is derived from the type locality Nanling.
Distribution. China (Guangdong).
