Generic diagnosis. Body small, brachypterous. Fastigium verticis conical, apex obtusely rounded, furrowed in midline. Apical segment of maxillary palpi slightly longer than subapical one, apex slightly swollen. Male pronotum moderately protruding, posterior margin of lateral lobes comparatively widened; humeral sinus absent. All femora without spines on ventral margins, pro- and mesotibiae with spines on ventral margin, tibial tympana open on both sides; apices of genicular lobes obtuse, posttibiae with a pair of dorsal apical spurs and a pair of ventral apical spurs. Male tegmina covered by pronotum, or slightly surpassing posterior margin of pronotum; female tegmina ovoid, separated; hind wings absent. Male tenth abdominal tergite normal, epiproct distinct or absent; cerci long; subgenital plate with styli; genitalia sclerotized, shorter, usually concealed in dorsal view. Ovipositor with basal area stout, moderately curved upwards, apex acute.
