Common name. Ceyhan spring minnow.
Diagnosis. Distinguished from other species of Pseudophoxinus in eastern Mediterranean basin by: ○ 38–46+2–3 scales in lateral series. / ○ lateral line complete / ○ flank usually with indistinct, brown mid-lateral stripe / ○ many small black spots below lateral line / ○ uppermost point of cleft below of center of eye. Size up to 113 mm SL.
Distribution. Türkiye: Eastern Ceyhan drainage in springs around Çöçelli and Lakes Gölbaşı.
Pseudophoxinus zeregi ; lower Orontes drainage, Türkiye; ~ 55 mm SL.
