Type locality.

Mullica Hill, New Jersey, USA; stratum: uncertain [likely Navesink Formation]; age: Cretaceous.

Type material.

Syntypes, ANSP IP18784, 2 shells (as “type” in Richards 1968: 164).

Current taxonomic status.
