Current name: Bupleurum praealtum L. ( Apiaceae ).

Note: An illegitimate name as it includes the whole basis of B. praealtum L. (1759) , i.e. the Magnol description and diagnosis. As such it is automatically typified by the type of B. praealtum . Stearn (in Geck & Pressler, Festschr. Claus Nissen: 65. 1974) reproduces (as his f. 8) the Dodoëns figure that is the type of both names.
