Material examined. 3 females and 2 males, from Vitex lucens (Verbenaceae) , Auckland, New Zealand, 24 December 2004, coll. S.J. Bennett. Specimens deposited in PANZ .

Host. Vitex lucens (Verbenaceae) .

Relation to host. Vagrant, associated with feeding on young leaves; may cause leaf wrinkling and distortion.

Distribution. Auckland and Whangarei (Lady Alice Island).
