Otoniela adisi Brescovit, 1997: 58 View in CoL , figs 121–132.

Diagnosis. Males of Otoniela adisi resemble those of O. lupercioi sp. nov., O. chica sp. nov. and O. duovizinhense sp. nov. by the short embolar basal apophysis and by the presence of a ventral tegular projection ( Figs 1F View FIGURE 1 ; 3G, H View FIGURE 3 ; 4C View FIGURE 4 ; 5G, H View FIGURE 5 ; 6C View FIGURE 6 ; 7C View FIGURE 7 ), but differ by the bifid median apophysis, with denticle in the median region; chelicerae with a protuberance in the fang base ( Figs 2A, B View FIGURE 2 ; 3G–I View FIGURE 3 ). Females of Otoniela adisi resemble those O. duovizinhense sp. nov. and O. chica sp. nov. by the epigynal plate with invaginated borders of posterior field. They differ by the posterior border slightly invaginated toward the atrium and wide atrium ( Fig. 1J View FIGURE 1 ). Posterior field with posterior border inconspicuous toward the atrium and U-shaped lateral borders in Otoniela duovizinhense sp. nov. ( Figs 7G, H View FIGURE 7 ); an invagination toward the atrium in inverted V-shaped O. chica sp. nov. ( Figs 8C, D View FIGURE 8 ).

Description. Male and female described by Brescovit (1997:58).
