Dohrniphora calvaria Borgmeier & Prado View in CoL

( Fig. 272)

Dohrniphora calvaria Borgmeier & Prado, 1975: 35–36 View in CoL , fig. 56.

Holotype. ♂, BRAZIL: Bahia: Encruzilhada , xi.1974, Seabra & Roppa, Malaise trap (not examined). The specimen has not yet been returned to the MZSP, so was unavailable for study.

Species recognition. We have not seen specimens of this species. It is extremely similar to D. quasicalvaria sp. n., but differs by having the group of setulae on the posterior face of the hind femur immediately adjacent to the microtrichose pad ( Fig. 272; greatly separated from the microtrichose pad in D. quasicalvaria ) and the absence of a small ventral lobe (present in D. quasicalvaria ).
