Diagnosis. Peglike setae in small basal line or group. The extra pair of scutellar setae might be a synapomorphy as well, if they arose independently in the apparently unrelated D. scutellaris .
Included species. This possibly monophyletic group includes D. hexaseta , D. lafondaensis , D. seriata , and D. sexspinosa .
