Diagnosis. Hind coxal lobe with small bare fingerlike process ( Fig. 310).

Included species. Dohrniphora distantia , D. gravis Borgmeier & Prado , D. matamatae , D. oyapockensis , D. parvicarinata , D. porrasae , D. sinuicarina , D. statheusa , and possibly D. dentiloba .

The recognition of these species is not straightforward and invites further research. In particular, the separation of D. sinuicarina sp. n. and D. matamatae sp. n. is problematic, and the two might just be variants of each other or of D. gravis Borgmeier & Prado. Similarly , specimens classified here as D. parvicarinata sp. n. vary in structure and might represent more than one species. All four of these species could be investigated at Amacayacu National Park in Colombia, where they are sympatric.
