Eggs whitish, oval, vary in size, their diameters in the widest part from 318 μm to 366 μm ( Plate 2 View PLATE 2 , Figs. a–c; Plate 5 View PLATE 5 , Fig. a), and lengths from 482 μm to 566 μm ( Plate 5 View PLATE 5 , Fig. b; Table 2 View TABLE 2 ). Micropyle area formed by 11–16 primary cells mostly unclosed. Some primary cells closed, and in this case, secondary cells present, so micropyle rosette can be highly asymmetrical. Primary cells mostly rectangular, triangular, or of irregular shape, length from 10 to 17.9 μm and width from 7 to 13.4 μm. Diameters of the micropyle rosettes from 47.5 to 61.2 μm ( Plate 4 View PLATE 4 , Figs. a–f). Micropyles rounded and have diameters from 22.1 to 25.1 μm. Chorion relatively smooth with slight tubercles; ridges, carinae, and cells are absent. Clearly distinguishable micropyle pores of widths from 1.3 to 3.4 μm in number from 13 to 16 present at the edges of micropyle. Distinct aeropyles absent.
