Prostigmaeus integrius sp. nov.

Holotype. Female ( Figure 16 View FIGURE 16 ). Length of body 350, width 165.

Dorsum. All dorsal shields with faint oval dimples, particularly evident on propodosomal shield. Propodosomal shield with three pairs of setae (vi, ve and sci). Eyes absent. Setae sce, c 2, d 2, e 2 inserted in striated integument. Central shield carrying two pairs of setae (c 1 and d 1). Setae e 1 located on median zonal shields. Intercalary shield divided, with setae f 1. Suranal shield entire, with three pairs of setae (h 1-3). Dorsal body setae faintly serrated. Dimensions of setae as follows: vi: 13; ve: 15; sci: 13; sce: 13; c 1: 13; c 2: 33; d 1: 10; d 2: 10; e 1: 10; e 2: 13; f 1: 13; h 1: 25; h 2: 27; h 3: 18. Distances between setae: vi-vi: 20; ve-ve: 40; vi-ve: 20; sci-sci: 53; ve-sci: 48; c 1 -c 1: 33; c 1 -d 1:55; d 1 -d 1: 35; h 1 -h 1: 25; h 2 -h 2: 55; h 1 -h 2: 15, h 3 -h 3: 70, h 2 -h 3: 18.

Venter. Coxisternal shields separated, with three pairs of setae (1a, 3a, and 4a). Aggenital setae four pairs, ag 1 and ag 2 located on different small shields, anterolateral to genital cover, and ag 3 and ag 4 located on the same shields, lateral to genital cover. Genital covers bearing three pairs of setae. Anal covers with three pairs of pseudanal setae. Dimensions of setae as follows: ag 1: 10; ag 2: 10; ag 3: 13; ag 4: 13; g 1: 8; g 2: 10; g 3: 10; ps 1: 13; ps 2: 18; ps 3: 15. All genital setae slightly serrated.

Legs. Leg I 168, leg II 135, leg III 127, leg IV 155. Chaetotaxy of leg segments as follows: coxae 2–2–2–2, trochanters 1–1–2–1, femora 6–4–3–2, genua 6(κ)–6(κ)–2–2, tibiae 7(ϕ,ϕρ)–6(ϕρ)–6(ϕρ)–6(ϕρ), tarsi 14(ω)–10(ω)– 8(ω)–8(ω). Genua I and II with solenidion κ.

Gnathosoma . Chelicera 58 long. Palp 70 long. Counts of setae from palpfemora to palptarsus: 3–2–3+1 claw– 4+1ω+4 eupathidia. Subcapitulum with two pairs of adoral setae (ro 1,2) distally and two pairs of subcapitular setae (m and n) proximally. Dimension of setae m: 13, n: 15, distances between m-m: 20; n-n: 25; m-n: 13.

Male and other immature stages. Unknown.

Etymology. The name of this species comprises Latin words, integrius , meaning undivided, because of the entire suranal shield.

Type material. Holotype Ƥ from grassy soil, 40°26'02'' N, 37°06'55'' E, 491 m, Reşadiye, 11 V 2008; ZMAU.

Remarks. The new species resembles Prostigmaeus khanjanii Bagheri & Ghorbani ; however, it can be distinguished from the latter by: ag 2 and ag 3 located on different shields in the former whereas located on the same shield in the latter, c 2 inserted in striated integument in the former whereas placed on humeral shields in P. khanjanii , and dorsal shields with oval dimples on in the new species vs. dorsal shields reticulated in P. khanjanii .
