Elasmothemis Westfall, 1988 

A single species recorded in Ecuador; adults with reddish-orange abdomen ( Fig. 92View FIGURE 92). For species identification, see Westfall (1988). The nymphs occupy flowing sections of small sand/rock bottomed streams.
