Material examined. Holotype male labeled: “ Brasil, MG, São Gonçalo/do Rio Preto, P.E. do/Rio Preto, Porteira, Posto (4)/ 02.xii. 2011, 847m, black/ligth, – 18.09o S, – 43.34o W /Oliveira & Ferreira legs.” ( CERPE).

Holotype male. Total length: 9.0 mm. Total pronotal width: 3.61 mm. Body: Dorsal surface glabrous, ventrally moderately setose, setae distinctly elongate. Color almost completely testaceous, but head black except clypeus, antennae light pale whitish yellow, and pronotum and legs slightly darker ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 A). Head: Dorsal surface finely punctate, more punctate on frons; clypeus almost impunctate, sides parallel at base, then weakly convergent to trapezoidal, reflexed apex ( Figs 1 View FIGURE 1 A–B). Frontoclypeal suture obsolete. Antennae with lamellae extremely developed, moderately and densely punctate ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 C); first lamella externally with longitudinal row of scattered setae. Mouthparts: Mandibles slender, apices upturned and weakly curved externally; last maxillary palpomere as long as preceding 2 together. Pronotum: Surface moderately and uniformly punctate, smooth along center line, posterior margin with a weak bead at middle. Scutellum totally punctate, punctures moderately large. Elytra: Surface distinctly punctate; striae well defined but weakly marked, punctures fine. Legs: Protibiae tridentate with basal tooth nearly obsolete ( Figs 1 View FIGURE 1 A–B); inner claw widely bifid, forming a right angle ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 D). Venter: Anterior prosternal margin sinuous and slightly crenulated, distinctly trilobed at middle, with middle lobe more prominent and conspicuous than lateral ones ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 F). Prosternal process high, but clearly not exceeding coxal height. Genitalia: Parameres symmetrical, moderately elongated, with 2 lateral projections, basal projection larger, middle projection directed laterally; apex not diverging internally, parallel; subapex with small tooth; apex rounded ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 E).
