Material studied. 2 males, 1 juvenile ( OUMNH.ZC.2002.24.119) outside Risong channel, light trap sample, 15 m depth; 07°17.903'N, 134°28.544'E; leg. S. De Grave & C. Burras, night 25th –26th May 2002; 1 male, 1 female ( OUMNH.ZC.2002.24.120) Risong Cove, WWII wreck; light trap, 2m depth, sandy bottom; 07°17.987'N, 134°28.756'E; leg. S. De Grave & C. Burras, 28th –29th May 2002.

Distribution. Madagascar (Ledoyer 1979 1986); New Caledonia ( Ledoyer 1984); Australia: Great Barrier Reef ( Coleman 2009); Palau (present study).
