Current status. Valid species.

Remark. This specimen was labelled as a cotype of Platycoelia variolosa Ohaus, 1904 . However, P. variolosa was described from a series of specimens collected in Columbia ( OHAUS 1904: 304 stated: ‘Columbien, ohne genauere Fundortsangabe’). Most probably it represents a specimen compared with the types by Ohaus himself rather than a true syntype of P. variolosa .
