Jejulaimus gen. n.

Diagnosis: Microlaimidae . Body yellow-brownish, cylindrical, with truncate anterior end and conical tail. Cuticle distinctly annulated, without punctuations and lateral differentiation. Anterior head region set off abruptly from the body at the level of the posterior margin of the amphideal fovea and slightly drawn into the body. Set of the anterior sensilla consists of six minute inner labial setiform sensilla on the knobs, six outer labial setiform sensilla and four cephalic setiform sensilla; two latter circles brought together thus forming a join crown of ten setae where the cephalic setae are longer than the outer labial setae. Amphideal fovea large, transversally oval with posterior interruption. Ribs or rugae in the cheilostoma wall not clear. Pharyngostoma with sclerotized walls and made up of two chambers: anterior chamber barrel-shaped with a slight constriction in the middle and narrow elongate posterior chamber armed with a strong triangular dorsal tooth. Pharyngeal tissue enveloped by an inflated pharyngeal tissue with slight longitudinal striation and sharply set off from the rest of the pharynx. Median part of the pharynx slender, with fine transversal striation. Posterior part of the pharynx constitutes an oval strong muscular bulboid widening with a delicate cuticular lining. Cardia external, trapeziform. Distinct ventral excretory/secretory gland with ventral pore just posterior to the nerve ring. Two opposed outstretched ovaries. An only anterior testis present. Spicules weak, strongly curved, anteriorly knobbed, posteriorly pointed; gubernaculum as a bar parallel to the posterior half of the spicula, without a dorso-caudal apophysis. Tail conical, with three caudal glands.

Type species: Jejulaimus sinyangensis gen. n., sp. n. No other species.
