Description. Having the characters of the genus; septa arranged in 3 complete cycles with the beginning of a fourth one. According to Cairns (2001, p. 21) the holotype represents a juvenile corallum. In excluding a second specimen reported for this genus by Wells (1933, p. 228), that has a papillose columella and lacks thecal porosity, Cairns states that the genus has been known from only the holotype, and therefore remains a poorly known taxon.
