Current name: Plumeria alba L. View in CoL ( Apocynaceae ).

Note: Wijnands ( Bot. Commelins: 44. 1983) discussed the name in detail and concluded that it should be lectotypified by a Plumier plate that did not feature in the protologue. This cannot be accepted as a neotypification because original material is in existence, though apparently identifiable as P. rubra .
