Remarks. There is a noteworthy difference between the paraprocts of the specimen illustrated here ( Figs. 4–6 View FIGURES 4 – 6 ) and that of Froehlich (1990, figs. 15–20). The paraprocts of the specimens from Espírito Santo ( Figs. 4–6 View FIGURES 4 – 6 ) exhibit a pronounced curvature not illustrated by Froehlich (1990, figs. 15–20). We studied the specimens listed in Froehlich (1990) and much variation in the paraprocts of G. garbei was observed. Our material examined ( Figs. 4–6 View FIGURES 4 – 6 ) also exhibits this variation.
