Note.

This western species feeds mainly on Pinus spp. ( Pinaceae ), and was already known from nearby parts of British Columbia ( Bright 1976).

Specimen data.

Alberta: Calgary, 51.042°N, 114.078°W, 11.vi.1944, in flight, E.J. Kitely (1, CNCI), CNC Diptera 129000.
