Distribution in Croatia: Only two known localities in Istria (Flengi: Ingrisch 1981; Pazin 21. VII.2015: Plüsspublished online on orthoptera .ch (http://www. orthoptera .ch/images/Home/Galerie/ Istrien _2015/ Stefan_Pluess_2015/ Andreiniimon _nuptialis_m_Pazin_ 150721 _1728_4.jpg).
Distribution in Europe: Endemic to Balkan Peninsula and Italy, fragmented range with many isolated subpopulations ( Hochkirch et al. 2016).
IUCN Red List status: Vulnerable (Europe and EU28) ( Hochkirch et al. 2016).
