First faunistic record for Croatia: Krauss 1879

Also reported as: Stenobothrus nigromaculatus istrianus Krauss, 1879 [partim] ( Krauss 1879)

Distribution in Croatia: Common in Istria and the Dinaric Alps, present on some Adriatic islands (Hvar, Brač). Records from Srijem ( Graber 1870) are not confirmed and there are no new data on occurrence of this species in the Pannonian region.

Distribution in Europe: From Southern Italy and Northern Greece (southern distribution border) to Central Germany (northern border) and Eastern European Russia (eastern border) ( Hochkirch et al. 2016).
