Distribution in Croatia: Widespread and common in the Dinaric Alps and the Mediterranean region, also found in the Pannonian region.

Distribution in Europe: From Italy and Greece (southern distribution border) to Czechia (northern border) and Eastern European Russia (eastern border) ( Hochkirch et al. 2016).
