1. Petiole oval or suboval ( Figs 19 View FIGURES 12 – 19. 12 a & 18a).

2. Postpetiole bilobed, with distinct median longitudinal impression (e.g. Figs 14 View FIGURES 12 – 19. 12 b & 15b). 3. Mesonotum posterolaterally angulate ( Fig. 32 View FIGURES 28 – 35. 28 a) and with distinct dorsal face ( Fig. 32 View FIGURES 28 – 35. 28 b). 4. Head shape quadrate.

5. Sculpture overall reduced, aciculate and shiny.

To date this group comprises three species: C. kelleri Forel , C. madagascariensis André and one yet undescribed morphospecies.
