Distribution: Cosmopolitan.
Records in Ecuador: Loja (andean mountain region of the Loja valley) and Zamora Chinchipe ( San Francisco Biological Reserve and Podocarpus National Park-Bombuscaro) .
Habitat: Soil and litter of degraded forest. Litterbags of Puteria sp., Cavendishia zamorensis , Mollinedia sp. , Graffenrieda emarginata , Clusia spp. and Hediosmum sp.
