Comments: Even with taxonomic keys for the females of Ceraia , we were not able to identify one female that we have collected. The specimen has an overall green coloration with some yellow regions along its body and presents a large yellow ocellus on the frons. The yellow pronotal carinae contrast a lot with the overall green coloration of the pronotal disc, same way as the light-yellow coloured borders of the lateral lobe of pronotum. The ovipositor is slightly longer than the pronotal disc, is curved along its entire extension and presents a rounded and serrated apex. Triangular lobes with obtuse apex are found in the mesosternum, while in the metasternum lobes are rounded and laterally expanded.
